A new life for Stroboskop...

In May 2026, Stroboskop will celebrate a decade of existence. Ten years is a long life for an independent, artist-run space in a garage! Over the years, this little space has become an important part of Warsaw’s art scene. I am very proud of the 65+ exhibitions and special projects, and am grateful to the 150+ artists and curators that have been a part of them. The projects, meetings, and conversations that have happened here have led to countless connections and some pretty wild opportunities.
It has taken an enormous amount of time, energy, money, and any other resource that one could possibly imagine to sustain. Despite this, what it has given back – both to me and our community – is incalculable.
All this being said, I know my time as the director has come to a close. But this is not the end of this consequential space with an internationally recognized legacy: Stroboskop was handed to me, and now I will be handing it off to a new group to lead it into its new epoch.
To whatever comes next!
